My husband died and my bank accidentally cancelled the direct debit to Tiscali. However, on realising the error the direct debit was reinstated immediately. Tiscali realising the cancellation ceased providing my telephone and broadband service within hours. After complainin, my broadband was reinstated after a couple of days, but my phone has still not been reconnected after almost 3 weeks. I keep being given all kinds of excuses and they have even had the audacity to charge me full amount on my recent statement. I have now been without the facilith to dial out since the evening of Monday 30th November. I had to use a friends mobile to arrange funeral etc. I live alone in a remote area and am in my late 60s. I need a phone. Is there anything you can do? Mrs Gillian Halls
