Long story short.
Buddy of mine had a telus highspeed account and went back to the states, his g.f was still using the account, i helped out couple of bills that was past due on the account and placed my card on auto-pay, in auguest i ordered telus for my self and placed 2 seperate orders
1. as a service address change from the account that was under my friends name but had my credit card
2. a brand new service under my name
well the 2nd one came first and when i made the call for activations i had asked to cancel the previous account but they didn’t want to since the name was different yet i had asked to remove my credit card from that account.
today i find out that telus had charged my account over $500 for termination charges from a payment source that was no longer authorized to be used in that account.
I am writing this complaint before calling the billing department. will post a follow-up on the unfolding events
